You are so big! (Bigger than 75% of babies your age.) The days flew by and now you're having your very first Half Birthday. Tomorrow you will try rice cereal and then on to veggies. You're going to love eating them, playing with 'em, and wearing them, aren't you?
At 6 months, you are still not sleeping through the night. Maybe starting foods will help with that. You are sitting up and rolling over, pushing up and scooting around (getting ready to start crawling). You chew on everything and drool a lot. You sure know how to make my heart melt and you sure know how to get my attention. You are starting to show some personality, too. When you want Mama and I'm not fast enough, you make a really sad face and try to cry. It's so cute!!!
When you meet new people, it only takes a few seconds for you to smile at them. They love you for that. You don't mind if perfect strangers hold you, but don't worry, Mama screens them first. I've got your back, sweetie.
I pray that you and your brother are the light and salt of the earth. Your father and I will do our best to raise you with a fear of the Lord so that you will gain wisdom. We pray that you will be a patient and wise man who loves the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul and that you would work as if you are working for the Lord in whatever you do.
